Jan. 30th, 2007 11:27 amYou know you're a seiyuu whore when you can recognize majority of the names listed in rankings. Such as, say, this one.
I know this ranking is pretty recent, but still... Goto Yuuko? Eh. Koshimizu Ami seriously needs a boost. I'm also surprised at Paku and Minagawa's rankings. WTH, fanboys! And Toriumi and Onosaka did not make the list! D:
Still, I love reading up on seiyuu rankings, official or not. The popularity/appeal of seiyuu (especially the ones you like) is really nice to know. It's also a great way to check how obscure your tastes are--aaaand Ishida Akira will forever be in the top ten, won't he? XD;
In other news, ANOTHER series I'm into/finished recently is going to air on Animax come February. BLACK CAT. I liked the show (it kept me watching till the end at least), but I can't help but be overwhelmed by how cheesy and overdramatic some episodes are, especially the later episodes. Trust me, you'll know. And yet there were parts where I felt underwhelmed (the Train vs Creed duel was anti-climactic, just like the ParaKiss fashion show. You know, the one everyone's been going on about since ep one? I really grew to dislike Yukari's narrations. They're more annoying than philosophical. "OH WOW I'M DOING IT! I'M WALKING ON THE RUNWAY!!1"). Anyway, I love Eve so much, but she's the ultimate Sue. Train is the ultimate Stu. Weeeell, this show is one huge ball of cliche, but it's not that bad. Watch it and see for yourself?
I'm feeling rather delinquent today. I think I'll go skip English class!
