(no subject)

My sister made me come shopping with her yesterday and I ended up buying a new keyboard on a whim. And yes, this merits some type of announcement considering my old one is, uh, about a decade old. :O Now I feel like I'm typing at the speed of light~. Why didn't I replace it years ago sooner?! DX

Aaaand, just got back from my (third!) piano lesson. Where I spent majority of the time being uncomfortable and stiff and awkward because I thought my teacher was in a bad mood. But when we were just about to finish, I was surprised when he said, "We got a lot done. You've been practicing, haven't you?" . . . Hahii? :Dd You mean my practicing on my non-weighted electronic keyboard wasn't in vain, after all? ♥ Uh. My tone and timing still suck, though. And while I can understand why my tone sucks, my timing shouldn't be that bad. I play with a metronome all the time. OTL

At least I've leveled up enough to play "Jingle Bells" now... Except everyone and their dog can do that. 8D; If I learn a bunch more carols, I should be all set for this year's family Christmas dinner!

Hmm. Maybe I should type weekly reports as a struggling piano beginner. Because it's totally SRS BZNS! :D
