Watched The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian with my sister and neighbor the other day. :D Am I horribly late on this? The movie was out around the first week of June here, I think...

I thought it was way better than the first (I miss the beavers, though TAT)! Edmund and Lucy sure grew up! Ah, and speaking of Edmund, he's definitely my favorite, here! ♥ He'll still be in the next one, right? I'm looking forward to Dawn Treader already! Just two more years...!

And even though I saw the whole Caspian/Susan thing coming right at the very beginning, I was... pairing Peter and Caspian together. 8D; I really couldn't help it! I'd feel bad or something, but even my sister, who's not in fandom ):, caught on it too (Sister: "Peter and Caspian are so much alike. They're both impulsive!"). S-so there!

My sister and I haven't read any of the books btw (... orz), so we bought one of those thick novel anthologies right after the movie--there's a bookstore conveniently right next to the theater! :Dd I have no idea when I'll get to read it, though... =口=

Oh, I saw it about a week ago! And I was thinking the exact same thing about Peter and Caspian. But you probably could've guessed that. orz They are alike! And they seem like the type of people that, once they got over their obvious differences/disagreements, would become really close and actually be able to confide in each other. ...I think. XD;

I read a few of the books when I was like, eight, so I may as well not have read them at all. Maybe again someday...before the next movie comes out. I'll kind of miss Peter and Susan not being in the next one, though!

I think they did resolve their differences in the end. Kind of. But since there wasn't a scene where they became friends or anything, it just seemed that they had to get along because there wasn't any choice. I might read the book version soon...ish just to see how much were changed/left out and to look for more Peter and Caspian subtext.

Clearly, Peter is the problem child this time around, isn't he? But just like with Edmund before, I really can't blame him. And he did pull through in the end. As for Caspian, well, for a titular character he didn't really get to do anything. :/ Other than save Susan that one time and... unintentionally stir up trouble. Almost resurrecting the Witch = Bad. D<

Yes, Peter and Susan will be missed. :( If it's any consolation, I think they'll be back in the last book? Assuming the third one isn't the last of these movies...

Ee, you too?! :D

And I'm very curious to see if there's more to Peter/Caspian than what was in the movie, so I'll probably start the Narnia series with this book.
